On the non-sailing days, we catch up with housework and other chores and get some biking, gardening and shopping done. M found this beautiful moth, still and dried out by our trailer, also was all geared up in pink! The weather is beginning to cool down and the numbers of butterflies and moths are beginning to dwindle.

in the pink
How's the sailing? It's been pretty good for a climate in slow transition to the El Nino state, but the wind forecasts have been more unreliable than usual. Some say it's because there is so much greenery and moisture around, others say you just never know. But it is what it is and with good wind and big swell 2-3 times/week, we're happy to put on all that gear and go sailing. And that's a 76 quad paired up with a 4.6 for those with inquiring windsurfing minds.
