rainy day

The weather continues to favour windsurfing, but there was rain forecast today and we jumped in the truck with H & D to head into Cabo San Lucas. It was a warm, soaking rain all morning. We picked up home improvement supplies and then shopped at COSTCO to restock the larder. We also gazed at the Atessa IV,  moored in the bay below the parking lot, a nice little boat owned by a feller from Montana.

Then it was on to Artesanos which sells every kind of Mexican household and outdoor decorative item in huge quantities and wide variety. Glassware, pewter, ceramics, painintgs, tavalera, furniture, and hanging lamps are just some of the wares on display. Artesanos is located just off the highway in an ancient warehouse and just like COSTCO, offers sweeping views of the bay from its' third floor. We wandered up the multiple staircase though all the levels to the top.

There just happens to be the huge Jiminez Natural Marble & Granite store next door, so we went to take a look around.

These are just the project leftovers. If you can't find something...there's lots more to choose from:

We headed down the highway to the French Riviera Bakery & Bistro  in San Jose del Cabo for spinach & feta crepes, dessert and coffee.

The rain stopped and we wandered through the shops for a bit, then headed home to clear skies to the souteast of town.
