During the time of our stay down south, few insects make their presence known. I saw a cockroach scuttle by under a street lamp the other night and bees are just starting to return to the flowers in our small front garden. Not long after our arrival in November, though we had this visitor hanging out in our bathtub one afternoon.
It's a wolf spider and they can really jump. M caught it in a plastic container (with a wave pattern), then took it over to show it to some of our campground cronies who said it was the biggest one they had seen. M let it go in the wild and then we checked our drains over very carefully, but the spider could have come by mistake in on a towel!
