dia de la revolucion

There is an annual local parade celebrating the Mexican Revolution. The parade starts at 8 a.m. with police clearing the streets and the parade gets underway with families following their children who are in the parade. The whole event depicts themes of the revolution and a lot of work goes into the wonderful costumes and performances along the route. The tale end of the parade this year included antique cars and a fire engine. The whole town turns out and then there is a big fiesta in the new community park. Each year is better than the last!
