San Jose del Cabo day trip

We took a holiday from our vacation with our friends H & D to head to COSTCO in Cabo San Lucas for dog food & coffee and then to San Jose del Cabo for the afternoon. The COSTCO in CSL is great and is located near a beautiful view of a marina with cruise ships. It has lots of interesting goods like rice milk, tofu and tinned hearts of palm that aren't found in our home COSTCO. We came back with quite a bit more than we planned on.

We turned back to SJDC to spend the afternoon in Plaza Mijares, where there are lots of opportunities for shopping, dining, and enjoying local art, culture and history.

We parked behind the plaza and entered through the lush gardens of the Tropicana Hotel into the plaza, where we had lunch on the boulevard.

We wandered over to a French-style bakery for espresso and dessert before a bit of shopping for chapeaus.

We toured through the Iglesia San Jose. The information found on the Moon Handbook link above, the tile picture featured on the front facade will make sense!
