As much as we love Rancho Santa Inez and Vida loves to rip it up running around there, we got on the road again at 9 a.m. Vida didn't eat all of her breakfast, so we played eat the dog food in the truck game along the way. As we closed in on Baja California Sur we saw beautiful dunes and a large dust devil.
We stopped for a great lunch at Mario's restaurant, just outside of Guerro Negro, where Vida met new dog friends including one who tried to come along for the ride.
We paid 20 pesos for our undercarriage to be sprayed at the agricultural inspection station before crossing into BCS. There was little drama on the trip today other than a bit more road detouring and beautiful scenery and a seven p.m. sunset (after we made our waydown on the road to hell near El Infierno to Santa Rosalia and the snaking coastal road to Puerto Escondido).
